Refund Policy
Last updated 13 June 2026
We want PlainFinance to be an easy yes. If a paid plan isn't right for you, you can get your money back — no hoops, no guilt-trip survey. This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service.
14-day money-back guarantee
If you purchase a paid plan — Plus (yearly) or Lifetime (one-time) — and you're not happy, email us within 14 days of the purchase and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to explain why.
The 14 days run from the date of your original purchase. The guarantee applies to your first purchase of a plan; it isn't intended for repeated buy-and-refund cycles.
How to request a refund
Email support@plainfinance.app from the address on your account with the word "refund" and the email you used to sign up. That's it. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to issue approved refunds promptly.
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take a few business days for the money to appear after we process it.
Renewals
Plus renews automatically each year. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before your renewal date from your account settings — cancelling stops future renewals and you keep Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If an automatic renewal catches you off guard, email us within 14 days of that renewal charge and we'll refund it.
The free plan
The Free plan is genuinely free — no card, no countdown — so there's nothing to refund. You can use it for as long as you like.
When a refund may not apply
We may decline a refund where there's evidence of fraud, abuse, a Terms violation, or repeated refund requests intended to game the guarantee. If your country gives you stronger refund or cancellation rights by law, those rights always apply on top of this policy.
